About Kyle

​Kyle Mazer is a playwright, poet, composer and producer. A graduate of Yale University's Creative Writing Concentration, where he studied playwriting under Donald Margulies, Kyle was award the T. Whitney Blake Prize for excellence in English, Music and Community Building.

 

His productions include “ORCA: A One-Whale Musical” (The Waterfront Museum) “STALLED” (Spark Theater Festival, Chance Theater), “The S.S. Cancelled” (Winner of New York Theater Festival), "KEEP THE CHANGE" (Cranford Think Theater Festival, Finalist for Pegasus Play Labs) "Dog Eat Dog" (Green Lung Studio, Quick & Dirty Productions) "The Woman in Green" (938Collective, Gene Frankel Theater), "Cricket, Cricket" (Dixon Place), "The Ground on Which We Stand" (Luna Stages) and "RUSTY UTOPIA: A Variety Show Responding to Change" (Andrew Logan Projects). He is the youngest member on the New York Theater Barn’s Board of Directors, and deeply committed to the burgeoning arts movement taking foot in Red Hook.

 

He is also deeply devoted to all critters.

Imagination is the first step toward inspiration, and Kyle seeks out work that is imaginative, thought provoking, and bursting with joy.
